On July 30th, the Canton Fair’s leading international buyers visited the Dongguan Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (for trendy toys, furniture, and electronics). Over 20 leading buyers from Denmark, Germany, the United States, Japan, Australia, and other countries, along with representatives from over 90 high-quality Dongguan companies, participated in targeted supply and procurement matchmaking. This marked the second visit to Dongguan by leading international buyers from the Canton Fair, following the successful visits to the Dalang and Songshan Lake bases last December.

Reporters learned on-site that these 20 leading buyers, including Japan’s leading home furnishing chain Nitori and Denmark’s high-end home furnishing chain F&H Group, came with clear purchasing intentions and sincerity. The active participation of these leading global buyers fully demonstrated the core strength and profound appeal of Made in China in the global market and conveyed the international community’s firm confidence in the resilience and development potential of the Chinese economy.

His company primarily sources furniture and home decor from China, one of its primary sources. He praised the event, believing it provided a deeper understanding of the scale and strength of suppliers, far surpassing even online or brief in-person meetings. “The purpose of this trip is to identify reliable factories for long-term cooperation, discover new products, technologies, and innovations in the home furnishings sector, and share cutting-edge information with our customers,” Jani Dhruv told reporters. During his visits to Dongguan factories, he was impressed by their new technologies, innovative applications, productivity, and product innovation. He has already visited two factories and is awaiting quotes. Once reasonable, he will recommend them to his customers.

The suppliers participating in this event are all excellent companies carefully selected by local commerce departments. They have a good reputation, offer high-quality products at a competitive price, and are highly competitive. Guangdong Hayadai Toys Co., Ltd. is one of them. Hayadai was selected for the 2025-2026 National Key Cultural Export Enterprises list for its outstanding performance in cultural product innovation and international market development. A company representative told reporters that Hayadai hopes to use this event to connect with large international groups and seek product collaboration opportunities. They will also promote their own brand and bring Dongguan’s original trendy toys to the international market. Hayadai has already established good communication with two groups in Hong Kong and Denmark.

After more than two hours of negotiations, some of the supply and purchase companies reached cooperation agreements. Signing agreements were signed on-site by Saudi Arabia’s SACO and Dongguan Aizhijia Furniture Co., Ltd., American Far East Brokerage and Dongguan Xinneng Electric Co., Ltd., and Putuo United Import and Export Co., Ltd. and Dongguan Bidi Electric Co., Ltd.

This event not only demonstrates the deep-rooted roots of the Canton Fair’s “Trade Bridge” brand in Dongguan, but also vividly embodies Dongguan’s foreign trade strategy of pursuing breakthroughs through hard work and innovation. The event not only precisely connects global sourcing resources with Dongguan’s industrial advantages, but also demonstrates the strong momentum for high-quality development of Dongguan’s foreign trade, as evidenced by the record-breaking first-half import and export performance of 749.28 billion yuan.

Dongguan is understood to continue its high-quality “Trade Bridge” activities and launched the “Trade Creates the Future Event Season” that afternoon. From August to October, Dongguan will host no fewer than 30 events, ensuring “major events every month and small-scale matchmaking every week,” building bridges to the world for more high-quality Dongguan companies.
